The school has been started under the auspices of the C.K. Kumaraswami Gounder Trust for Charities, Gobichettipalayam. It was started in 1968 as a Nursery and was recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu as a Matriculation School from 1985, and upgraded as a Matriculation Higher Secondary School from June 1994. The school is the sister institution of Palaniammal Girls Higher Secondary School.

Our students secured 499/500 in SSLC, 587/600 and 584/600 in HSC — State-level toppers. Congratulations to our students and staff.
Students participated in a tree-planting drive and poster-making competition in observance of World Environment Day.
School reopens for the new academic year in June 2025. Fee payment and uniform collection open from the first week of June.
Students celebrated Tamil New Year with folk dance, kolam competition and special prayers.
